Cancellations & refunds

For an urgent order issue, call the restaurant with your order reference. Keep your confirmation and a record of any request.

Before preparation starts

The order page allows cancellation of a received or accepted order before preparation starts. Check that cancellation is confirmed. You can also cancel an order awaiting online payment; leaving a payment page does not itself cancel an order.

After preparation starts

Submit a cancellation request from the order page or call 074 911 9855. The restaurant must review it because the food may already be cooking or on its way. The order stays active until cancellation is confirmed. A declined request should include the reason.

Missing, wrong, unsafe or unsatisfactory food

Tell the restaurant promptly what happened and what remedy you are requesting. Keep the order reference; a photo or packaging may help where available, but do not consume or return unsafe food merely to provide evidence. Lack of a photo does not automatically remove your rights.

Depending on the problem and circumstances, Irish law may entitle you to a replacement, price reduction or refund. Contacting us quickly helps investigate a perishable product. We do not impose a blanket “no refunds” rule or restrict your statutory rights through a short website reporting window.

If you suspect a serious food-safety issue, stop eating the food and seek appropriate medical help if needed. You may also contact the Food Safety Authority of Ireland.

Freshly prepared food and changing your mind

The usual online change-of-mind cooling-off right has exceptions for goods that deteriorate or expire rapidly, including many freshly prepared takeaway meals. This concerns changing your mind; rights concerning faulty, unsafe, missing or incorrectly supplied food remain. Other goods or services must be assessed under their applicable rules.

Refund status and method

Cancellation and refund are separate events. Your order distinguishes a refund being required, processing and completed. An unresolved or failed refund is not displayed as completed. Online refunds use the original payment method where supported. Payments made in cash or through a card terminal must be arranged with the restaurant.

Settlement time depends on the payment provider and bank. We do not promise a fixed bank time or deduct an undisclosed refund fee. If the status needs clarification, call 074 911 9855.

Unresolved complaints

Ask for the restaurant’s written response and keep your correspondence. The CCPC explains consumer complaint options. A business complaint process does not prevent you using applicable legal remedies. The former EU Online Dispute Resolution platform closed in July 2025; it is not an available complaint channel.
